As we enter the month of August I am currently working on several things right now for the blog, and I just thought I'd provide a list as to what to expect.
-This upcoming week, expect reviews of Salt and the hit indie comedy The Kids Are All Right, and anything else I can fit in.
THE REST ARE MORE LONG-TERM GOALS FOR THE MONTH
-I am currently working my way through the Christopher Nolan filmography so I can write up a Director Profile so we can follow him from Memento to Inception.
-"I've Finally Seen It!" articles on Greg Mottola's Adventureland, and Roger Ebert's choice for the best film of the past decade: Synecdoche, New York.
-I have not written a "My Favorite Movies" post in a long, long time. I might make it up to you with a look at the entire James Bond series, which has little or no merit on an artistic level, but as escapist fare you can't beat it.
-I might try and formulate a few "TV Timeout" posts, with possible subjects being Fringe, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and I make the case for The Office to end after this next season and Steve Carell's departure.
I will also continue "My Summer of Scorsese" and throw in a few "Trailer Trash" posts and anything else that enters my head. In the words of philosopher Dirk Diggler: "Let's keep rockin' and rollin' man!"
